excerise 1.3
A lot of people seem to wonder, is college really worth it ?
people agree some people
may
disagree. Individuals may go to college to better their lives and get a job
they love to wake
up to and go
to everyday and there are people that go to college because maybe they were
forced or
felt like they had to. I feel that college depends on the person. To me, some
people
may not need
college because they may already have the knowledge they need or a job they
are happy
with. Some people, depending on their major, may need further knowledge in
order
to obtain
their career.
A college education could raise a student’s
chance of economic success in the future.
The amount
of knowledge and degree level can determine your income. When it comes to
college,
people may only do it for the money not because they love that job. I feel like
you
should at
least wake up doing something you love to do. Some newly minted college
graduates
struggle to
find places to work. Others accept jobs for which they may feel overqualified. For
all
the
struggles that many young college graduates face, a four-year degree has
probably never
been more valuable.
People with four-year degrees make more an hour than people without a
degree.
There is nothing certain about this
trend. If there were more college graduates than the
economy
needed, the pay gap would shrink. The gap’s recent growth is especially notable
because it
has come after a rise in the number of college graduates. The pay gap has
continued
growing which means that we are still not producing enough of them.
